I don't know why there is this proclivity to ban commenters on blogs, so I'm going to start this little thing, and promise here and now not to ban any of the immense readership I'm sure to rapidly garner at this place. I've been wading into the murky, polluted waters of the Republican blogs lately, and each of them has either banned my IP address or deleted all of my posts, usually after being assured that left-leaning blogs do the same to Republicans. Now I don't know if this is true because I don't frequent those blogs, because they aren't nearly as interesting as the zoo or retards that constitutes the right-leaning blogs, but given my conversations and interactions with these people, I'm willing to bet that most bannings, if they occurred, were warranted.
I don't really believe that a typical Republican blog-reader has the intellectual curiosity to have a good-faith debate in the comments system of a liberal blog in the first place, but if there ever were any, and if they truly were banned, it's a shame, if only because I don't like that they have that arrow in their quiver when I'm calling them cowards for refusing to debate or argue with me.
But these people can't argue, and that is precisely the problem with Republicans in America, and one of the reasons we're all creeping towards ultimate disaster the longer they remain in power. All dissent and criticism is met with petty, baseless, gossipy insults, no matter how relevant, no matter how thoroughly researched, no matter how obviously true said dissent and criticism is. What's done to me is exactly what is done to Richard Clarke, and John Kerry, and Paul O'Neil, and Joe Wilson, and General Shinseki, and all the rest on the long list of people that have had gripes with how Republicans have been misusing our government.
So here I am, actually taking a cue from one of these Republicans, and starting my own little blog, for some reason. My purpose is to argue with these people, and that's why I made the rounds to all their blogs, trying to find a community that would receive me. I'm convinced now that there isn't one. Thus, Republicans Say the Dumbest Shit.
